An autumnal twist on the babka, this gorgeous enriched dough is swirled with homegrown apples, butter and cinnamon and topped with flaked almonds. After baking, the whole loaf is drenched in sugar syrup.
Serve warm, with vanilla ice cream, or slice and eat just as it is.
As with all my products, it has a limited shelf life – no nasty preservatives here! This is best eaten within 3 days.
